Fox Mobile Spreads ‘Simpsons’ Holiday Cheer

Fox Mobile Distribution is pushing more than 100 new, exclusive mobile clips from “The Simpsons,” including holiday-themed content from America’s favorite dysfunctional animated family.

Content is also available from “The Simpsons Itchy & Scratchy Land” mobile game from Electronic Arts. The mobile content is accessible for download at www.thesimpsonsmobile.com and www.jamster.com.

“’The Simpsons’ content continues to be in strong demand, and fans are always looking for new and unique ways to being their favorite characters with them on their mobile device,” said Soren Schafft, Fox Mobile vice president of U.S. sales and marketing, in a statement.

In “The Simpsons Itchy & Scratchy Land” mobile game, the Simpsons are on vacation at the Itchy & Scratchy Land amusement park when the park’s parade robots run amok. The Simpsons are forced to defend themselves – Homer with bowling ball bombs, Marge with her vacuum cleaner and Bart with his stink-bomb slingshot – to survive.

Exclusive wallpapers, made-for-mobile voice tones, polytones, and screensavers are also available from FMD, which is a unit of the Fox Mobile Group.

All content is part of “The Yellow Plan” subscription service, which offers material exclusively from “The Simpsons.”
