Sprint Puts ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ on Phones

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Sprint is out with a new sweepstakes that gives the winner a chance to appear on the popular game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.”

The Millionaire Music Edition is available free as a demo on Sprint and Nextel phones. The program is an all-music edition of the popular game show “Who Wants to be A Millionaire,” hosted by Meredith Vieira, and lets players test their knowledge of music via 1,000 questions.

Similar to the TV game show, players start off with common knowledge $100 questions and culminate with the much tougher $1 million question. Four lifelines are available: Ask the audience, 50:50, phone a friend and switch the question.

Subscribers can enter the Millionaire Music Edition Sweepstakes at CapcomMobile.com/Millionaire through Aug. 15 to try for a chance to compete on the TV show in September or October and the $1 million top prize.

The grand prize also includes a three-night trip to New York City and $1,000 in cash.

Capcom Interactive developed the mobile game for Sprint.
