Burger King is out with a new sweepstakes tied to Super Bowl XL, in which consumers can win a chance to go to the big game via a text-messaging campaign.
Six-piece and nine-piece NFL-themed packages of Burger King Chicken Fries carry a unique entry code. Customers can send a text message of their entry code to 25946 (BKWIN) to enter the Super Bowl XL Text to Score sweepstakes.
The grand-prize winners get a trip for two to Super Bowl XL in Detroit. Other sweepstakes prizes include five trips for two to the Pro Bowl game in Hawaii, two 2006 Hummers each valued at $35,000 and 10 Samsung plasma 40-inch wide LCD TVs. Lesser prizes include and $40 loaded Visa gift cards, EA Sports Madden NFL 06 Xbox 360 video games and Super Bowl Moments DVDs. Consumers can log on to NFLYourWay.com for more information.
NHL-themed TV spots featuring the King going head-head against football pros will support the promotion. TV spots began airing Jan. 9. Burger King is returning to Super Bowl advertising after an 11-year break.

With the sweepstakes, Burger King is introducing a new 36-piece K Chicken Fries Party Pack, which features four Text to Score sweepstakes entry codes.
