FranklinCovey Income Drops

FranklinCovey Co. posted net income of $3.1 million for the second quarter, a decrease from $3.8 million in the prior year.

The motivational products and services direct marketer reported sales of $75.1 million for the quarter ended March 1, a decrease from $76.9 million last year.

The Salt Lake City firm attributed these results to a $3.3 million decrease in its consumer solutions business unit.

The company reported that its gross profit increased to 62.1% percent of sales compared to 61.4% percent in the prior year.
