Abercrombie Direct Sales Rise 45% in Quarter

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. posted net income of $216.8 million for the fourth quarter, a 9% increase over the same period last year last year.

The direct marketer and retailer reported net sales of $1.2 billion for the quarter ended Feb. 2, an 8% increase over the prior year year.

In addition, the New Albany, OH firm posted direct marketing net sales of $108.6 million for the quarter, a 45% increase.
