Wise Foods is playing ball with Modell’s Sporting Goods this month with a “Double Play!” joint promotion.
Wise has put coupons from Modell’s on packages of chips in the Northeast. Consumers redeem the on-pack coupons for 10% off baseball-related merchandise at Modell’s stores in eight states.
An online sweeps at WiseSnacks.com/play supports, dangling two grand-prize packages of a limited-edition lithograph signed by New York Mets Jose Reyes, and a sixty-second shopping spree at Modell’s. Ten first-prize winners get a signed lithograph; 30 second-prize winners get a $25 Modell’s gift card (with 50 third-prize cards at $20 each). Cohen Friedberg Associates, Needham, MA, handles.
Meanwhile, Kennesaw, GA-based Wise is running a Kettle Cash on-pack sweeps in 22 Eastern states, dangling a $10,000 grand prize. Game pieces on 300,000 bags of Kettle Chips carry an instant-win message; lesser prizes include $500 (10 winners) and a free bag of chips (2,500 winners).
