JVWeb, Inc., a Houston-based Internet strategy company, acquired a majority interest in privately held NewsUSA, which provides news and information about sweepstakes to radio stations, newspapers, and the Internet. JVWeb gains three key components: The National SweepstakesShow, a talk radio-style program broadcast over 132 radio stations; newspaper insert Sweepstakes News, with a monthly national circulation of 1.2 million; and several sweepstakes-related Web sites.
