Western Europe Online Market to Grow to $234 Million by 2010

Online marketers in Western Europe will sell $97 billion worth of products and services in 2006, a 37% increase over last year, according to market research firm EMarketer.

By 2010, the market is estimated to more than double to $234 billion. The UK dominates the e-commerce market in Europe, generating half of all online sales in Western Europe. But the market is expected to shrink to 44.5% of the whole by 2010 as France and Germany ramp up their online sales.
