Truth Orange Hitting the Slopes

Truth, the largest national smoking prevention campaign for youth, will reach out to young people at popular winter ski resorts during its truth Orange winter grassroots initiative.

Traveling with signature orange truth vehicles rigged with DJ decks, video monitors and gaming systems, the truth crew will provide anti-tobacco messages and engage in peer-to-peer communication.

Each stop will feature impromptu rap sessions, join-in free-style demos and giveaways of popular truth gear including T-shirts, handwarmers, Gummi Bears and plastic sleds, designed for this year’s winter initiative. Scratch lessons will be available through the Scratch DJ Academy, a group of DJ’s who show newcomers the fundamentals of DJ’ing, scratching and mixing music.

The tour starts Feb. 5 at Breckenridge, CO, and ends April 3 at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, CA.
