Major brands like Coors Light and Killian’s Irish Red have signed on as sponsors for a VIP event to be held this Friday for attendees of The Masters Golf Tournament 2004.
Joining Coors Lite and Killian’s are Ketel One, online gaming company Casino Fortune and Zino Platinum cigars.
The event, called Eagle Mansion, will be held this Friday at an estate near the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA. Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn and former Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick are scheduled to appear. New York-based LIVEStyle Entertainment is holding the event.
The sponsors put up money and product for the $600-per-person event and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit that town’s CSRA Community Foundation, said LIVEStyle Entertainment spokesperson Katy Saeger.
Casino Fortune will give each party-goer a voucher that can be used at the event to sample the online gaming service.
Augusta National will still keep The Masters a sponsorless event, as it has since activist Martha Burk’s publicized controversy surrounding the club’s all-male membership policy in 2002.
The event is being promoted with on-air plugs by Atlanta sports talk radio station 790 The Zone, as well as signage throughout the region, Saeger said.
