SkyPostal Expands Parcel Shipping to Middle East
SkyPostal Networks Inc. is expanding its parcel shipping and customs clearance services for fulfilling online orders received from customers in the Middle East.
Miami-based SkyPostal is an international wholesale mail distribution firm with extensive operations in Latin America, offering services under the brand Punto Mio.
SkyPostal has formed a joint venture with E-Commerce Ltd., based in Kuwait to expand its operations in the Middle East. It will transport packages to a hub in Dubai for distribution to Internet customers in eight countries in the region.
“This agreement fits our strategy to broaden the Punto Mio brand beyond Latin America to other underserved regions,” said in a statement A. J. Hernandez, chief operating officer of SkyPostal.
U.S. firms will be able to ship packages to registered online customers. SkyPostal also provides other services for firms interested in expanding sales internationally.
