NBA and SPRITE: have opened a public vote for the “Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown Championship.” Ten semi-finalists were selected from hundreds of dunkers who compete in the showdown at NBA Nation presented by T-Mobile tour stops or submitted their best dunking footage online. Visitors vote for their favorites through Aug. 12. Four finalists will dunk for the $10,000 grand prize at the third annual showdown championship event.
