MSNBC.com, Nissan Collaborate on Trivia Game

“This Day in History” is a trivia game on MSNBC.com intended to engage Web site visitors about past history and current news. The daily quiz in the U.S. News section of the site challenges them to test their knowledge on a range of topics, including pop culture and historical events.

After making selections from lists of multiple-choice questions, a page offering the correct answer with video, photos and links to related subjects. The daily quizzes will also be archived on the site.

Visitors taking the trivia quiz can also register for a Nissan sweepstakes to win a 2008 Rogue SL AWD. The sweepstakes concludes on Nov. 15 with the winner to be selected at random on or about Nov. 21. Contestants can enter to win at http://msnbc-trivia-sweeps.com/. They can also access this link on the answer page at This Day In History at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20827658 on msnbc.com.

The trivia quiz and the contest will be promoted by MSNBC on air and online. Media agency OMD and Nissan developed the concept of the trivia game and the sweepstakes.
