Guinness is looking for fans to design the ultimate in-home bar; in the process, one stout fan may win a beverage center worth about $20,000.
Consumers can register at Guinness where they will be asked to construct a blueprint for their own Ultimate Guinness Home bar via a new interactive feature at the site. Entrants must include an explanation of why he or she should be the grand-prize winner to receive the $20,000 home bar installed in their home.
Submissions will be taken through July 31. The winner will be picked by basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton. Walton recently received a replica of the bar that consumers will be trying to win.
“Guinness is an ideal choice for entertaining at home, and this bar is a great way to enjoy an authentic Irish pub experience with friends and family— a pint, of course,” said Daryl Benton, VP-Guinness, in a statement.
The bar comes fully equipped with a three-keg cooling unit, three tap handles, mirrors for the back bar, a bar table and four stools.
