Ford Dealers Launch Ad Campaign Inside Video Game

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

The Northern California Ford Dealers Advertising Association plans to launch a direct response advertising campaign on a video game advertising network on Nov. 15 to promote leases for the Ford Fusion midsize car.

The campaign was developed by J. Walter Thompson working with Engage In-Game Advertising, a video game advertising network based in San Francisco. It will include pre-game commercials, billboards positioned on game information pages and banner ads inside game session windows.

“All the creative components of this campaign are trackable, clickable and directly link the consumer to the Ford Fusion promotional offer. It will greatly enhance consumer awareness and drive leads for Northern California Ford dealers,” said in a statement David Smith, president and co-founder of Engage.
