Ask.com Debuts Search Erase Feature

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Ask.com, the search engine, has launched AskEraser, a service that completely deletes all future search queries and associated Web cookie information from its servers. That information includes address, User ID, Session ID and the complete text of their queries.

An AskEraser link is featured prominently in the upper right corner of the Ask.com homepage and search results pages.

AskEraser has launched in the U.S. and in the U.K. and will be deployed globally in 2008.
