Wendy’s To Offer Mobile-Based Coupons In Northeast

Fast food chain Wendy’s International has selected Options Media Group Holdings, Inc., to help roll out a mobile couponing campaign.

Consumers in the Northeast who opt in for mobile coupons and advertisements will receive offers for special discounts at select Wendy’s locations.

The mobile coupons can be redeemed simply by showing their mobile device to cashiers. Customers will be able to instantly redeem the coupons, allowing for Wendy’s to track the performance of the campaign.

In a statement, Options Media CEO Scott Frohman attributed his firm’s ability to offer these capabilities to its recent acquisition of technology relating to Bluetooth advertising and mass SMS text message broadcasting capabilities from H2O.

Options Media Group Holdings is an email service, permission based email, sms/text messaging marketing and mobile marketing services provider.
