Verizon Communications has consolidated all of its advertising and marketing under one agency, McCann, owned by Interpublic Cos.
The change affects multiple agencies, including Draftfcb, which handled all of its direct marketing work and is a sister agency of McCann. Draft won the Verizon business in 2001.
Other agencies reportedly affected include mcgarrybowen (general agency), La Agencia De Orci & Asociados, Ad Asia and IMG (events), sources said.
Euro USRG had handled B-to-B business for Verizon, but resigned the work last month.
No further details were available last night.
