VH1 will be rolling around the streets of Los Angeles in a replica of the Partridge Family bus this September to promote its upcoming series In Search of the Partridge Family.
The bus will be making stops in Los Angeles from Sept. 3-5 to promote the show, which premieres Sept. 5. Tour staff will distribute branded bags of gumballs to consumers in the area. The bus will also be making appearances at other California locations such as Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica Pier, The Grove, Venice Beach and The Sunset Strip.
The new reality series lets America help cast a modern-day version of the iconic sitcom. VH1 traversed the country to find people who resemble, act and sing like Keith, Laurie, Danny and Shirley Partridge. Eight finalists for each character will be flown to Los Angeles where they will compete in weekly episodes for the role.
