The Spiegel Group has named James B. Pekarek as vice president, corporate controller. Previously, Pekarek was vice president of finance and corporate controller for Montgomery Ward.
Pekarek will be responsible for corporate accounting, financial planning and reporting for Downers Grove, IL-based Spiegel. He has also worked for Outboard Marine Corp., Alliant Foodservice and Coopers & Lybrand.
