Nut marketer Diamond of California will blitz San Francisco’s 3 Com Park this month to leverage its visibility during the NFL game broadcast on ABC’s Monday Night Football. Diamond sponsors the San Francisco 49ers.
On Nov. 17, the Stockton, CA-based growers’ co-op will give 70,000 fans giant foam fingers with the Diamond logo on one side and the 49ers logo on the other. Sample snack-size bags of Diamond Glazed Nuts will be packed inside each foam finger. Diamond and the 49ers handle the promo in-house.
Diamond of California has also sponsored the San Francisco Giants for two years and is title sponsor of the Diamond Walnut San Francisco Bowl, first played in 2002.
