Revlon, Inc. has named Stephanie Klein-Peponis as chief marketing officer. She replaces Debra Leipman-Yale, who has resigned after 18 months on the job.
Klein-Peponis is the company’s executive VP, chief planning and business development officer. In addition to marketing chief, she retains the title of executive VP. She joined the firm in June from The Boston Consulting Group, where she worked as VP and director. Through that position she had worked with Revlon as a consultant.
Leipman-Yale joined Revlon in 2002 after working for Clairol, Inc. for 19 years, where she was president of its international division. During her months with Revlon she was credited with leading marketing and product development teams that helped grow market share during the last 12 months; directing the launch of four of the top 10 beauty products sold in the mass market this year; and creating alliances for Revlon brands with popular theatrical films such as Die Another Day and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
In a statement, Leipman-Yale said she had met the goals she had set for herself and that she is “looking forward to new challenges” in her career.
