Alloy Inc. generated third quarter net income of $7.3 million, up from just under $2 million in third quarter 2004. The New York based marketer, which targets Generation Y females, saw its revenue rise from $104.4 million to $122.9 million. The quarter and the year ended Oct. 31.
During the quarter, revenue within the direct marketing segment rose 27%, compared with 18% for its retail operations. The company did not break out the actual figures for these two segments.
