Promotion Agency Extends Deal with Tequila Rose

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

The Promotion Agency has extended its work for the Tequila Rose Brand.

Work this year calls for expanding marketing for the brand’s sponsorship of country music duo Bomshel and other recording artists. Three national programs will get underway, including a sweepstakes and a contest to be executed in both on-and off-premise accounts.

“The brand has responded well to promotion and the association with Bomshel looks like a perfect fit for the Tequila Rose customer,” Mike Breazeale, a spokesperson for the agency said in a statement.

Last year, the Brighton, MI-based agency ran a sweepstakes tied to the launch of two products: Tequila Rose Cocoa Cream and Tequila Rose Java Cream to celebrate McCormick¹s 150 anniversary last summer.

The online sweeps pulled in about 47,000 entries.

The winner, Houston resident Kim Larson, a 25-year-old technical assistant at an insurance underwriting company, took the grand prize, a purple Wicked Women Chopper, valued at $35,000. (PROMO Xtra, Nov.9, 2006)
