Leading privacy expert Fred H. Cate has joined the law firm of Hunton & Williams , as senior advisor in the privacy group.
He will advise clients on developments in the law and privacy in the U.S. and around the world, from the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Cate has also been appointed as a senior fellow at the Center for Information Policy Leadership, a think tank and consultancy within the Richmond, VA-based firm.
Cate, an author and authority on privacy and the law, will remain a professor at Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, IN.
