Retailer Origins is launching a chocolate-laced line of personal-care products with special displays and sampling in its stores.
The five-item Cocoa Therapy Collection puts cocoa in massage cream, soap and moisturizer (complemented by “sensory therapy” chocolate bars).
Displays mimic old-fashioned street vendor carts; attendants sample hot chocolate to shoppers. Sampling runs through early December in 14 markets. David Lees Productions, New York City, handles the display effort for New York-based Origins.
