Television home improvement series, This Old House, is holding its first national tour beginning in Detroit this month. The tour is presented by The Home Depot.
On Sept. 30, the tour kicks off with a daylong celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary at the Home Depot in Canton, MI. The tour will hit metropolitan areas in six cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Boston and Atlanta.
This Old House host Kevin O’Connor and plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey will talk about their favorite episodes. Audiences can watch 30-minute shows throughout the day.

A contest will dangle a $250 shopping spree with a crew member and the grand-prize winner of the Meet This Old House Sweepstakes wins a two-year lease of a Ford Super Duty truck. First-prize winners get a $5,000 gift card to the Home Depot, second prize is a Bose Lifestyle system and third-prize winners get a trip to the current This Old House project.
