Office Depot has begun a 3.3 million-piece direct mail campaign to promote its new Ink Depot initiative.
Ink Depot is an area in each of Office Depot’s retail locations dedicated to ink and toner supplies. Each will have a Web-enabled reference kiosk and its own cash register, as well as a cartridge recycling area.
The direct mail pieces were due to be delivered by April 22, and focused on driving retail traffic, said Ali Lynch, spokeswoman for the Delray Beach, FL firm.
The campaign includes copy about the store’s ink and toner cartridge recycling program, which offers customers a ream of paper in exchange for their recycled cartridge. A dollars-off coupon
