has added three new flavors of its low-calorie juice drinks called Minute Maid Light. In addition to lemonade, raspberry passion, mango tropical and guava citrus are now available.
DIAGEO: bows Smirnoff Twisted V, a line of fruit flavored malt beverages in four flavors: green apple, raspberry, mandarin orange and cranberry.
STEVE MADDEN, LTD: will co-present the Verizon Ladies First Tour beginning Mar. 12 with 10-time Grammy Award-winning songstress Beyonce Knowles. The footwear company will feature Beyonce on in-store signage as well as on its Web site www.stevemadden.com. In addition, Steve Madden will host a contest through its retail stores, Web site and with select retail partners for consumers to win concert tickets and a chance to meet the singer.
CKE RESTAURANTS: will shut down 28 Hardee’s restaurants by May 2004. Restaurant sites and the number of workers to be affected were not specified. The moves would result in charges of $44 to $50 million in the fourth quarter that ended Jan. 26.
ASTERISK: has named Dan Finkiewicz VP-premiums. Finkiewicz will oversee e-commerce marketing, ASI sourcing, and custom premiums and products. Asterisk, Chicago, is a member of the Publicis Groupe.
