THE COCA-COLA CO.: is extending its sponsorship of the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games. The deal covers 2006 and 2007 including support by Coca-Cola China for the 12th World Summer Games—and is comprised of cash, in-kind products and services, and marketing and fund-raising support for Special Olympics. Coca-Cola is a founding, global partner of Special Olympics, to be held Oct. 2-11 in Shanghai.
BOISE PAPER: hired Robinson & Maites, Chicago, to handle promotions for Boise’s five business units (Office Paper, Flexible Packaging, Label Release & Specialty Papers, Printing and Imaging and Converting). The shop will handle marketing strategy, P-O-P and B2B as well as consumer promotions for the division of Boise, ID-based Boise Cascade.
