Monster.com has begun a TV and radio campaign that will culminate in an online Ultimate Career Day blitz on Feb. 1.
The jobs Web site will let employers who are new Monster customers list one job for free on the site, then make that bank of jobs searchable from Feb. 1-7.
Meanwhile, job seekers who add or edit a resume on the site in January are automatically entered in a sweeps for $50,000. They also get one free music download and a free month of service on music site Rhapsody.com.
Radio spots run through January in 41 markets to drive job seekers to the site. Then on Feb. 1, Monster blitzes each market with localized spots showcasing local jobs and people.
The radio buy is part of Monster’s new marketing deal with Infinity Broadcasting, whose stations also will air one-minute Monster Career Moments, interviews with business execs, celebs and athletes, listener success stories and Monster career tips. Moments will also be posted on the Web sites of the 180 Infinity stations airing Monster ads. Maynard, MA-based Monster Worldwide runs Monster.com.
