Macy’s Hires Thomas for Loyalty Marketing

Macy’s has added new blood to lead its loyalty marketing efforts.

The retailer has named Aubyn Elaine Thomas as senior vice president of marketing services.

In her role, Thomas is charged with growing Macy’s financial services businesses, including its credit and loyalty marketing departments, as well as multicultural marketing. In addition, Thomas will help direct the company regarding its loyalty and rewards platform, gift cards, enhancement services, the company said.

Prior to joining Macy’s Thomas was vice president of the brand and acquisition marketing group at Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. in Las Vegas. There, she helped lead and develop one of the largest distributors of casino brands. Before that, she worked as senior vice president of brand strategy and enterprise marketing for Bank of America.

Thomas will work out of Macy’s corporate marketing headquarters in New York.
