SPSS Inc. has introduced updated software for data and text mining, building statistical models for lists, and predicting consumer behavior.

The upgrades improve data management, integration and automation for customer data collection. Such technology can be used to assemble information for customer acquisition, cross selling and upselling, according to the Chicago-based data analytics firm.
