[Re: FCC May Fine AT&T Over Do-Not-Call Violations and Letters to the Editor, November 4, 2003]:
Isn’t it hilariously ironic that the outsourcing company the FTC chose to facilitate and administer the National Do Not Call List is now facing $780,000 in fines for violating the rules of the program?
Maybe the FTC knew what it was doing when it contracted AT&T for the inbound telemarketing services needed to sign people up for the DNC list. Perhaps they figured they would end up getting the service for free once they levied fines against AT&T for violating the rules.
Oh, and regardless of what Sal Caimano thinks the “Flight Deck” thing was funny!
