Kellogg CMO to Retire

Alan Harris, chief marketing and customer officer, will retire at the end of January.

Harris, 52, has been with Battle Creek, MI-based Kellogg since 1984. He joined the company in Manchester, England as a product manager. Since then, he has held a variety of leadership positions at the country, regional, international and global level. Harris was named to the executive leadership team in 1997 and is cited as a key driver in the renewed growth of the $10 billion company.

No successor has been named.

The company’s brands include Kellogg’s, Keebler, Pop-Tarts, Eggo, Cheez-It, Club, Nutri-Grain, Rice Krispies, All-Bran, Special K, Mini-Wheats, Chips Deluxe, Sandies, Morningstar Farms, Famous Amos and Kashi.
