Jelly Belly Kicks off New Flavor Contest

Jelly Belly is rolling out a new contest in search of an original jelly bean flavor.

People can submit their one-of-a-kind creations online at DreamBeanContest.com starting Jan. 7. The Web site will contain a “Bean Builder” to help people design their dream bean.

The person with the best new flavor will win $10,000 and the chance to have his or her flavor become the newest Jelly Belly bean. The promotion includes a virtual scratch and win component. More than 2,000 instant-win prizes will be awarded daily including, Jelly Belly Bean machines and a year’s supply of Jelly Belly beans.

Jelly Belly is promoting The Dream Bean contest on its 3.5-ounce packages up to two-pound bags. Online marketing and in-stores displays will also market the contest, which runs through July 31.

EPrize is handling the contest for Jelly Belly.
