Mobile search-engine advertising technology is being introduced in Israel. Two firms Media Layers and Unisurf have formed a partnership to distribute personalized advertising to all subscribers of mobile technology in Israel.
Ads will be personalized based on search inquiries, time and other parameters. Consumers will be able to click to respond to offers.
Promotion formats will include video clips, banner ads, search links and other types of advertising.
“Just like the PC-oriented Web, relevant and valuable advertising is needed to complement (mobile media) and establish its business model,” said in a statement Noam Man-El CEO of Media Layers.
