Google Is Testing a ‘Quick View’ Button for Mobile Search Results

Posted on

Google searchGoogle has confirmed that it’s testing a new mobile search feature called “Quick View.” The feature, which has been spotted on an iPhone 5, is a “Quick View” button that sits beside mobile-enabled search results. Pressing this button lets users see something like a quick preview of the website without having to load the full site and all its data. “We’re always working on ways to make the web faster, especially on mobile devices — this is one of the experiments we’re running,” a Google spokesperson told Search Engine Land.
