The Gillette M3Power Nitro Chopper is being auctioned on eBay |
The Gillette M3Power Nitro Chopper auction will run from June 14 through 24. The auction will be promoted through public relations, e-mail blasts and at National Prostate Cancer Coalition events held in New York City.
The Gillette Co. had commissioned the boys from Orange County Chopper to build the bike. OCC owners Paul Teutel and Paul Tuetul Jr. documented the creation of the bike on their Discover Channel show American Chopper during two episodes in April.
“The owner of this bike will enjoy the ride and the experience of owning a customized chopper,” said Paul Teutul Jr. in a statement. “We were honored to work on this project with Gillette and are pleased that the money raised will go to the National Prostate Cancer Coalition.”
The chopper’s design is sleek and streamlined, like the razor, and features chrome metal work with black and electric green accents. A key feature of the razor, the bright green 3-D button that activates micro-pulses of the shaving cartridge, is positioned prominently on the chopper’s rear fender.
