Fox Soccer Channel is throwing a party to pump up its first decade of covering the world’s most popular sport.
The network’s 10th Anniversary Extravaganza is a free event kicking off at Universal CityWalk in Universal City, CA, on Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. The central focus of the four-hour celebration will be an outdoor screening of the New England Revolution-New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer playoff match.
The event will feature Chris Klein and Peter Vagenas of the Los Angeles Galaxy and U.S. Women’s National Team member Aly Wagner. U2 cover band Hollywood U2 will perform, along with The Rising Sound, which recorded Fox’s theme for its “MLS Saturday on FSC” games.
Fans attending the event will be able to test their soccer skills in the Galaxy’s “Soccer Pen” and can record a birthday video message that might air on Fox Soccer Channel. Fox, MSL and Adidas will also provide prizes for the event that will also be covered by Indie 103.1 FM.
