Former PepsiCo CEO, Gary Rodkin, to Lead ConAgra as CEO

ConAgra Foods, Inc. has named former PepsiCo CEO Gary Rodkin as president and CEO. He takes the post Oct. 1.

Rodkin, 53, will also be a member of the company’s board of directors. He will succeed Bruce Rohde, who announced his plans to seek a successor earlier this year.

Last March, Rodkin resigned as chairman and CEO of PepsiCo Beverages and Foods North America to pursue new career opportunities. He had been in the position since 2002.

Omaha, NE-based ConAgra is one of the nation’s largest processed food companies. Its brands include Chef Boyardee, Egg Beaters and Parkay.
