Focus Direct Inc., a direct mail manufacturing and marketing company, has sold its O’Connor Road Fulfillment Center to Delivery & Communications Inc. as part of a multiyear agreement to expand Focus’ business into retail and consumer packaged goods. Both companies are based in San Antonio, TX. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Focus Direct will produce, co-mingle, presort and process selected mail programs for Delivery & Communications. In turn, Delivery & Communications will provide dimensional package assembly for Focus Direct’s clients.
Focus Direct also said its board of directors has approved a $7 million plan for investing in new printing, prepress and mailing-service equipment during 1999.
