ESPN Zone Runs Father’s Day Contest

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

ESPN Zone is tapping into Father’s Day with a contest that lets kids say why their dad is No. 1.

The nationwide contest, called Send Dad to Golf School, asks kids to submit letters to their local ESPN Zone explaining why their dad is tops. Four fathers from each location will be selected to compete in a virtual golf contest at their local ESPN Zone.

Eight winners will receive a gift certificate to ESPN Golf Schools presented by American Express. The prize is valued at $395. Kids can enter at ESPNZone.com.

“We’re looking forward to reading some of the children’s letters,” said Christine Baum, ESPN Zone’s manager, marketing and communications, in a statement. “It’s going to be difficult to narrow it down to only four contestants per site, but we’re ready to go.”
