Eos Airlines Launches Money Back Guarantee Offer

Posted on

Eos Airlines is normally not in the business of betting, but it’s willing to make an exception with a new promotion to offer a money-back guarantee to select first-time flyers.

Under the promotion, the Purchase, NY-based premium class airline is offering British Airways and Virgin Atlantic travelers a discounted roundtrip rate to London ($3,500) and a money-back guarantee to unsatisfied customers. In addition to the flight, the offer includes free car service and a “refresher room” for arrivals at London’s Stansted Airport.

To qualify, customers must show proof that they have flown at least twice in the last six months in the upper classes on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Flights must be booked by April 12 and taken before May 26. Travelers who are dissatisfied with their Eos flight in any way, excluding circumstances beyond the airline’s control, must make their claim within 48 hours of their last fight flown.

“We have the best-in-class positioning in terms of product,” Eos Airlines Founder and CEO David Spurlock said. “We are putting our money where our mouth is in announcing our belief in the level of … service we deliver.”

Eos Airlines, which is celebrating its six-month anniversary this month, serves international business executives with daily flights between New York and London. The 48-seat aircraft offers 21 square feet of space for each passenger—40% more room than an average business class seat. Each seat can be configured into a 78-inch bed.

The airline launched the promotion to spur trial among new customers and to showcase its premium services.

“This is not a gimmick,” Spurlock said. “The guarantee…it is whole satisfaction.”
