LOS ANGELES Tired of completing the same Jumbles as you wait for the feature film to start? Well, E! Entertainment Television is coming to the rescue. The station will create branded trivia entertainment for the more than 1,300 theaters in the Cinema Billboard Network.
“Our goal with this is to position the E! brand anywhere and everywhere entertainment fans are found,” says senior vp marketing Dale Hopkins. E!’s trivia will have a link to existing E! programs. New sequences will be created five times a year. In return, the channel will get ad space in the on-screen program to hype its own shows.
