Draft Taps Jones, Nubie for Nokia

Draft Chicago has hired Chicago agency veteran Nick Jones to lead its new Nokia global retail business.

Nick Jones

Jones joined Draft this week as senior VP, a new post. He had been executive VP-director of client services at Upshot, Chicago, where Jones worked for eight years.

“We’re assembling a multi-talented group of people here and abroad to meet Nokia’s needs; Nick is well-suited to lead the charge,” said Draft Chicago President-Chief Operating Officer Yvonne Furth in a statement.

Steve Nubie

Draft also hired McDonald’s Corp. veteran Steve Nubie to work on the Nokia business. Nubie joins Draft as senior VP-group creative director, a new post; he had been president-CEO of consultancy Steve Nubie Co. Nubie was McDonald’s director of advertising for nine years, and earlier had been creative director at longtime McDonald’s shop Leo Burnett, Chicago.
