Business information giant D&B has completed the sale of its operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic to Bonnier Affarsinformation AB for about $24 million.
The Short Hills, NJ firm has also signed a letter of intent with Bonnier Affarsinformation Holding AB and Burgel Wirtschaftsinformationen GmbH & Co. KG to explore further ways to enhance data collection processes and increase D&B’s German coverage.
Bonnier will operate the acquired businesses under the D&B name, and will distribute D&B-branded products and solutions in the Central European markets. Bonnier intends to invest in the continued improvement of the company’s Central European database. D&B will also gain access to Bonnier’s central European business databases.
