David Nussbaum, President of Direct Network, Dies

David Nussbaum, founder and president of Direct Network Inc., a North Brunswick, NJ list brokerage and direct response advertising agency, died last weekend of a heart attack, according to Monica Feinstein, an account executive with his firm. He was 50 years old.

Nussbaum founded Direct Network in 1994. Before that he worked for CAMA/George-Mann Associates and Prescott Lists. He began his career in 1979 as a clerk in the list brokerage department at Names Unlimited and by the time he left he was a database manager.

In addition, he was a board member of the Direct Marketing Club of New York since 2008. He is survived by a son, Joshua, and a daughter, Samantha.
