Crest is giving people a reason to smile with an on-pack sweeps tied to the second-season DVD release of Desperate Housewives.

The on-pack promo lets customers enter codes from packages of Crest Whitestrips Premium at WhiteStrips.com for a chance at the grand-prize: an all expense paid trip to Hollywood to visit the set of Desperate Housewives. The prize includes airfare, hotel accommodations and spa treatments along with two digital cameras, lunch at a famed Los Angeles restaurant, dinner for four at a celebrity hot spot, a white limo ride to the set and $1,500 in spending money. The prize also includes the second-season DVD boxed set and four kits of Crest Whitestrips Premium. First- and second-prize winners also get the DVD set and the Whitestrips.

Once players enter the sweepstakes they automatically advance to an instant-win game page for one play. There a flash movie shows images of three mailboxes that they click on. If all three match, the player is notified immediately that they have won the DVD set.

The promotion, handled by ePrize, Pleasant Ridge, MI, ends Dec. 1.

Desperate Housewives is out with its own promotion, touting its Forbidden Fruit fragrance. Players take a quiz at ABC.go.com/primetime/desperate/forbiddenfruit to be entered for a chance to win in one of 17 promotional periods. Winners receive a Desperate Housewives coffee table book and a 3.4-ounce bottle of Forbidden Fruit. The grand prize is a trip for two to Los Angeles for a two-night stay and a VIP tour on the Desperate Housewives set, a hair and makeup makeover and a $1,000 gift certificate. The sweeps ends Dec. 31. LeadDog Marketing, NY, handles.
