Coupons Inc., a provider of interactive coupon technology, has bought CouponBug LLC., which markets online coupons through television.
Terms were not disclosed.
Specifically, those stations run TV commercials directing consumers to CouponBug-managed coupon sections of their Web sites.
Through this arrangement, Coupons Inc. said it would gain direct relationships with television stations in more than 100 local markets across the country.
